Have a hair-related question?

Check out the answers to our FAQs below to learn more about our services.

Should I wash my hair before coloring it or getting an updo?

For chemical services, which include coloring hair, clean hair is better. For updos, one-day-old hair is better.

How often should I wash my hair?

It depends on the texture of your hair. If you have fine hair, you’ll probably need to wash it more often. If you have coarse hair, you don’t need daily shampooing.

How often should I recolor or cut my hair?

Everyone’s hair is different, so the exact answer to this will vary. In general, we recommend recoloring to cover gray hair every 4 to 6 weeks. For highlights, we also recommend recoloring every 4 to 6 weeks. For balayage, we recommend coming in for recoloring every 8 to 12 weeks.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

The only thing that we ask you to do to prepare is to arrive with clean, dry hair. We’ll then take the appointment from there!
